Many citizens are appalled at the disregard for fairness in Washington DC. Many believe one of the biggest issues is the revolving door and they say that Government Politicians should not be lobbyists for 2 years after leaving office. Indeed two years is a long time, but for the party scene in Washington D.C it merely gives them time to get re-acquainted with everyone and make sure they get invited to all the right parties.

My thoughts are; “Hell it ought to be 10-years.” Otherwise it is a bribe to run for office and we need politicians who are people that actually give a hoot about this Nation, not only themselves. Many an Op-Ed has called politicians a bunch rats. Yet we also see government lawyers do the same thing. These scoundrels are worse than all the politicians put together, as they work for Government Federal Regulatory Agencies and attack businesses based on complaints coming in from Corporate Attorneys who are competitors of the regulatory lawyer’s next target.

Then after a few years the company or the private law firm that was getting all the juice hires them to come work for them and then these former government lawyers just like treasonous spies switch sides. Pathetic indeed. But it gets worse as they use their former insider contacts at the agency they use to work at to help them get juice for their new employer. Ridiculous game.

All government lawyers who go to work in private enterprise as corporate lawyers, lobbyists or law firms need to forego their government pensions. We as taxpayers should not have to pay for this sham and crimes against free enterprise, truth and justice. We need a “A NEW PLAN FOR THE PEOPLE,” one which includes these sorts of abuses of power in our government. Think on this in 2006.

It makes sense perhaps that a lawyer would be someone who would indeed become a Supreme Court judge. However I do not believe that we need lawyers to be 100 percent of the people who sit on the Supreme Court of the land.

There are too many lawyers in office and too many trial lawyers in politics. It is not healthy for United States of America to be run by lawyers. During the last election the Democratic Party put up two lawyers with law degrees to be president and vice president of United States of America.

Most of the Senators in the United States of America are lawyers, as well as most Congressmen and so if most judges are lawyers, then we have lawyers running our nation instead of regular folks like you and me. If we truly are a nation of the people and for the people, run by the people and most of the people are not lawyers then it makes sense that the United States government, which we own should be run by us and not lawyers.

We need to get rid of all the lawyers in office and reduce the number of lawyers on the Supreme Court by 50 percent. You do not have to have a law degree to read the Constitution and understand what it says, all you have to do is be able to read and think.

Most lawyers that go to law school go to very liberal schools and they get a law degree and an academic background taught by very liberal thinkers. Our founding fathers were much different than that and if we’re going to follow the Constitution of the United States of America which was written by them, then we need regular thinking Americans and not lawyers running our government. Consider this in 2006. (if you are lawyer, I think you are spelling it wrong, should be “liar” in my opinion).

Some of the greatest abuses in government with regards to taxpayers dollars come from the lawyers and government. They cannot make it in the real world in law and therefore join the government to sponge off the American taxpayer. We know we cannot trust lawyers in the real world and it appears we cannot trust government lawyers either. In fact, government lawyers set up a conference and hotel rooms at an exclusive golf and tennis resort at; St. Simons Island in Georgia. How are they able to do this?

Using government credit cards of course. Lawyers always tell us that they can keep their profession honest and police their own. However, this is not the case and the lawyers in government are probably the worst lawyers of all judging by this abuse of government credit cards using taxpayers money.

It must be nice to go on vacation as a government lawyer to any golf and tennis resort that you feel like using taxpayers money and government credit cards? Eventually these government lawyers will graduate and move into private practice where they will be just as dishonest and it makes you wonder how come we don’t have more rules and regulations for government lawyers and attorneys in the private sector.

It is clear that they believe they are above the law. I have personally met government lawyers working in a few agencies in Washington, DC and I could tell by their body language that they were not only lying but they had something to hide.

Why is it that government federal lawyers believe they can go to a golf and tennis club resort to do ongoing training and when they could just as well use a Federal law Enforcement training Center; in fact there is one nearby in Georgia along the coast. This is a complete waste of taxpayers money and of the use of government credit cards and we should all be appalled that these things go on every single day in our government.

We need to put embedded RFID chips in each government lawyer because we cannot trust them as far as we can throw them. And when they leave the government we should not allow them to go into private practice without a lie detector test. Please consider this in 2006.
